Just wanted to drop a line to let you know we had a fantastic time this weekend. The Nanhoron Arms is a welcoming comfy hotel and the food was exceptional, 5*. Nefyn Golf course was the most challenging I have ever played and caused a great number of laughs with the other half. We are definitely looking at booking again. Myself and the guys have just returned from our Trip to Llangollen (Fri, Sat & Sun) and I thought I must update you on a marvellous trip. Llanymynech was a joy, a great test in great condition. Llangollen was if anything even better, the course and in particular the greens was superb, the staff and members couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and the setting is so peaceful with some magnificent scenery. Old Padeswood was perfectly fine but is clearly not quite in the exceptional class of the previous two courses. The Greenbank Hotel was very good, the food excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. And lastly the weather was outstanding which just put the perfect topping on a great weekend. Many thanks to you and your team for once again organising a splendid weekend of golf, and if you get the chance please pass on our thanks to LLanynynech, Llangollen & the Greenbank.

Arrived back yesterday. Great week and what luck with almost windless conditions. Nefyn is fantastic and in wonderful condition. That back 8 on the Old Course is surely the most stunning run of golf holes in the UK. Wonderful week - wonderful - and the Plas Isa was just fine and well located. Thanks for making the arrangements and i think you'll be hearing from us again next year.

Many thanks for your assistance in organising this weekend. Everyone had a brilliant time and were blown away by the quality and scenery provided by each course we played. We received a warm welcome at all 3 courses and the hotel was great. The weather was fantastic with no rain at all for all 3 days, how you managed to book that I have no idea as it seemed to be raining all over the rest of the UK! Nefyn was universally agreed to be the best and most picturesque course any of us had ever played, absolutely stunning (and my own personal highlight was an eagle 2 at SI 1 out by the lookout tower holing my pitch from 120 yards out, never happen again).

Dear Ian, I have just returned from the golfing break on the Llyn peninsula you organised for myself and my brother. I have to say, weather aside, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the three courses we played - Pwllheli, Nefyn and Porthmadog. I would have to particularly mention the great welcome and attention we received at the Plas Isa Hotel from Ian and Anna. The food is only great !!

Just to let you know we have a great time last week. The greens at Abergele were difficult, Royal St David’s was excellent but unfortunately it rained very heavily at Nefyn. The Hotel was first class with excellent food. Many thanks for making the arrangements. We are considering next year at about the same time, maybe playing other courses. I will be in touch later in the year.

Southport Old Links Golf Club

Just wanted to say what a great weekends golf my husband I have just had. The three courses were all very different and all had fantastic scenery. Vale of Lllangollen is an immaculate course, and the greens were very fast. Henlle Park is a lovely open course with wide undulating fairways set in beautiful parkland. Every hole is very different and the locals were most friendly and welcoming. Llanymynech has stunning views over border country.

Although a short course the holes are interesting with a large number of elevated tees which you need to make the most of with your drive. There is plenty of wildlife to view with buzzards soaring overhead.

The Wild Pheasant Hotel is very pleasant and the spa most welcome after a hard days golf.

All in all I would recommend this golf break as it has something for everyone. Kind regards
